Brain Booster Subject Election - T&C

Dear Parents 

The school believes in overall development of the students. Keeping this in mind at the Primary Level ( Foundation ) there is greater emphasis on development-based curriculum and student are taught the essential concept of various Brain Booster Subjects.

✍️ Once the subject is opted/ elected it will not changed in the academic year.

✍️ This is to inform that if the student wish to change the current elective subject after the current academic year, the student need to give one aptitude test of that elective subject. Hence after that the exam, student with highest marks will be given preference to change the subject.

Chess Spartan Tournament 

Rules & Regulation : 

  1. The competition will consist of rounds depends on no of players.
  2. Participants will be paired based on their current scores after each round.
  3. The tournament shall be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess under the Swiss League System.
  4. Each player will have  15 minutes with an addition of 3 seconds per move starting from move number one.
  5. The management is not responsible for any mishap or untoward any incident happens at the venue.
  6. No double chairs are allowed (players are requested to cushions with them).
  7. Attire: for Inter-school Competition Participants are required to wear their school uniforms during the competition.

Code Of Conduct 

  1. Fair Play: Strict adherence to fair play is expected. Any form of cheating or misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.
  2. Tie Breaks:  In case of tie breaks , the following criteria will be used. 
    • Cut Buchholz System
    • Buchholz System
    • Sonneborn-Berger
    • Direct encounter
    • Progressive
  3. Arbitration: Any disputes or appeals will be resolved by the tournament arbiters, and their decisions will be final.
  4. Prize Distribution: The prize distribution ceremony will take place after the conclusion of the 5th round. Winners are expected to be present during the ceremony.
  5. The competition organisers reserve to make any necessary changes.
